My approach to wedding photography

Weddings can be very hectic and fast-paced and my style lends more towards candid photography, ensuring I capture intimate and memorable moments throughout the day.

I try to avoid being noticed and aim to make sure everybody feels comfortable and at ease with their photo being taken.

How much does it cost?

Engagement

£350

Capture your proposal or plan a photo session after they say YES!

60-minute shoot at a location of your choice.*
Up to 30 high-resolution photos delivered digitally.
Unlimited use of the images to print, share etc.

*Location must be within 20 miles of NN10. Further distances will require travel fees added to the price.

Wedding Day

£1200

Full day coverage included as standard.

1x meet and greet prior to the wedding date to get to know each other. Either in person or via Zoom.
A full day of photography from the bride getting ready to the first dance (Approx 9 am – 8 pm).
A minimum of 400 high-resolution photos will be delivered digitally via Dropbox to share with friends and family.
1x framed giclee print at 16″x24″.
Unlimited use of the images to print, share etc.

Wedding Day +

£1600

The works, includes an engagement shoot and a printed photo album.

1x photoshoot before the wedding to get to know each other (engagement / couples shoot).
USB stick and presentation box.
1x 30-page hardcover photo album.
2x framed giclee prints at 16″x24″.
Unlimited use of the images to print, share etc.

Frequently asked questions

Do your prices include travel costs?

Yes, my prices include full UK travel! If your venue is particularly far away from Northamptonshire somewhere to sleep the night before would be very appreciated!

Are you fully insured?

Yes, I have public liability insurance and employers’ liability insurance.

I’m shy in front of the camera, do we have to do posed photos?

It’s your wedding day and I’ll only do what you feel comfortable doing. Our 1 to 1 before the wedding will help us to determine what you feel comfortable with. My candid photography style means I am unobtrusive throughout the wedding – and will only be noticeable during posed and group shots.

I don’t want a full day and only a few hours, how much would that be?

Although I think capturing the full day ensures you don’t forget any of those special moments – I understand it’s not suited to everyone. Drop me an email to busi ness@jackwoodhams.com and we can figure something out.

How long will it take to receive my photos?

During a wedding, it’s common to capture up to 3000 photos, sorting through these and editing the best ones takes a lot of time. I always estimate final photo delivery at around 4-6 weeks after the day – this can be longer during busy periods. I’ll always notify you of any delays, although delays are unlikely.
